If you are experiencing material problems due to corrosion, erosion or high temperature performance, consider Appalachian Foundry (Thetford Foundry)'s group of Ni-Resist alloys. Ni-Resist alloys are a group of austenitic irons with a high nickel or nickel and copper content. These alloys have a very good corrosion resistance to acids, alkalies, seawater, oils and their derivatives. In various applications, Ni-Resist alloys have shown excellent corrosion and erosion resistance characteristics. Other alloys have very good mechanical properties combined with an excellent oxidation resistance up to temperatures of 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. Other types are non-magnetic. Over the years, Ni-Resist alloys have proven to be an excellent choice for severe applications in mining, pulp and paper, marine, chemical and petrochemical industries.

For additional information, please contact us at Appalachian Foundry (Thetford Foundry). Our technical personnel will be pleased to help you select an alloy best suited to your needs.
